    Minimum number of booking participants (2)
    Single bookings will be waitlisted for the chosen date or dates you wish to participate.   Once the minimum booking is achieved for any tour on the date or dates you have chosen, you will then be contacted via phone, email or both.
    Billing information will be collected at the time of wait listing.   (See Payment policy)

  • Payment for all reservations are due when booking your tour.  
Acceptable forms of payment are Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover Card.

   

Paddle Craft Launch Permit Policy

 

Hoover Dam Paddle Craft Launch Permits can be purchased six months in advance.
Launch Permits are $15.00 and are non-refundable. A $10.00 processing fee will be charged per permit (for a total of $25.00 per permit) if tour is cancelled.
Paddle Craft Launch Permits if not used can not be rescheduled. (That is not our policy but the National Parks)

 

Cancellation Policy

 

All cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance of launch to receive a full refund, excluding Paddle Craft Launch Permits. (See Paddle Craft Launch Permit Policy) 
Evolution Expeditions reserves the right to cancel tours due to weather or unsafe conditions.  In this case, we will reschedule or issue a credit. 
Paddle Craft Launch Permits are non-refundable.  
 
Shuttle Policy

 

Hotel shuttle pick-up times vary and will be given upon confirmation of booking your Las Vegas kayak tour.  Shuttle drivers will wait 10 minutes prior to departing your pick-up location.  Please be courteous to other kayakers and promptly show up on time at your pick-up or launch location.  

  

Tour Policy

 

Evolution Expeditions Kayaking cannot be held responsible for weather such as wind, waves, rain, heat or unforeseen circumstances.
Routes are proposed and might change.  Although Evolution Expeditions Kayaking will do everything in its power to ensure tours are as described, we may change routes, locations or times for the safety of participants and guides.
All participants must sign a Release of Liability Waiver and Declaration of Fitness prior to tour.
It is your responsibility to inform us of medical conditions, ailments, disabilities, allergies, injuries or other conditions that may affect the safety of yourself and the group.

   

Late Arrival Policy

 

For self-guided tours we have an obligation to return participants to their hotels and vehicles in a timely fashion.  If you arrive more than 30 minutes late, we will return to Las Vegas with those paddlers who arrived on time, then make a second trip to Willow Beach to retrieve you and our gear.  You will be charged a late fee. You may have to wait several hours until we return. Don't be late, you'll have to wait!
 

Damage Policy

 

When renting our equipment you will be responsible for returning equipment undamaged and properly cleaned. Kayaks and equipment will be inspected for cracks, holes, missing parts or other damages.  Renter will be responsible for damages and will be held liable.
Our kayaks are tough but should not be dragged.  Sitting on kayak decks will cause damage to the kayak and should be avoided.  Please, handle gear with care.
Kayaks that are not tied off will float down river and will be replaced by the renter at market value.  We use top of the line Prijon kayaks and equipment, so if you do not tie your kayak off while exploring it could cost you thousands of dollars.  Please be careful, always tie off your kayaks and place all gear inside the kayak haul.
