Evolution Expeditions Kayaking has designed a great new adventure called the "Kayak Hoover Dam Express Tour". We are very excited and believe we have created a fulfilling and rewarding Hoover Dam kayak tour by popular request.  

 

Our kayak Hoover Dam tour offers an incredible vantage point from the base of the Hoover Dam along with visiting geothermal hot spots.  Kayak from the Hoover Dam and end at White Rock Canyon as the morning transitions to noon.

This tour is for those who are looking for more of a challenge without consuming the entire day.

 

The challenge begins when launching your kayak at the base of the Hoover Dam, steam in the Sauna Cave and soak in hot spring pools all while kayaking on the Colorado River, just over three miles!

 

Upon landing at White Rock Canyon, you will be offered culinary delights of yogurt parfaits, assorted bagels and smears. Set for exploration, we will journey three miles through an inspiring volcanic slot canyon where our shuttle back to civilization awaits us.

 

This tour is perfect for beginners to advanced paddlers who also like to hike in the great outdoors.  We have the best equipment around and our guides are CPR and Wilderness First Aid certified.  Our professional guides are knowledgeable in the history of the Black Canyon and the construction of the Hoover Dam as well as the new Bypass Bridge.

       

Free shuttle pick and drop off:  

      

Hotel shuttle pickup times vary and will be given upon confirmation of booking your Las Vegas kayak tour.  ID required .  Trip length from start to finish is approximately 6 hours and may vary with traffic conditions.  Shuttle drivers will wait 10 minutes prior to departing your pick up location.  Please be courteous to other kayakers and promptly show up on time at your pickup or launch location.

Only 45 paddle craft permits issued daily.  Please call for availability .

 

Access to the launch site is by permit purchased from the NPS for $17 per person, so please call us to check for space availability and make reservations. If permits are not available on the day you request, we do have alternate kayaking adventures to suggest.
